WA Deep Dive Workshops

During November, we normally bring you the WA State Conference.

After reading the feedback and having members chat to us, we have realised that WA members wanted some more intense training.

So we are bringing you two workshops this year for the same price as the Conference.

A fantastic local Sydney facilitator who receives rave reviews in Sydney and Melbourne and an overseas trainer who presents at conferences around the world.

Workshop1: Building Business Impact | 1pm - 2:30pm

Building impact should be the number one goal of any Insights function. Not only is it the key to profitable business growth, it is the key to increasing Insights' influence and growing the resources the Insights team has at its disposable.

It's also a proven route to career advancement.

This session will focus on how to maximize the impact of Insights.

We will start the session by presenting the key findings from the latest research GRBN has conducted amongst client-side Insights leaders in the USA on the topic of Business Impact. We will share insights into how you too can increase the amount of impact you and your team is having.

Building on these insights, we will then set you on your way to devising a high impact strategy.

We will end session by working in small groups to brainstorm how to build effective client-agency relationships to further maximize the impact of Insights.

Facilitator: Andrew Cannon

Andrew has over 30 years' experience working in the market research/Insights sector. Andrew has worked on the agency, client and tech sides of the business, and for the last 5 years has held the position of Executive Director at GRBN, the Global Research Business Network. Andrew is a world-leading authority on the ROI and Business Impact of Insights. Andrew leads GRBN's research efforts on this topic, runs workshops and conference sessions across the globe and consulting both end-clients and agencies on how to measure ROI and maximize the business impact of Insights.

Workshop 2: Beyond Actionable Research: A workshop to practice delivering business solutions | 3pm - 5pm

Research, Insights and Analytics are being challenged to prove their effectiveness in business. CX and Management Consultant budgets are growing – they deliver action into the business.

Are your debriefs still data, analysis and then recommendations? It’s time to take it to the next stage.

This workshop teaches and practices another way to deliver, forcing us to be solutions focussed. Come and learn how to be more impactful – and make more of a difference.

Sara Garcia has built two research companies, in London and Sydney.
She now coaches the industry in increasing its effectiveness.
