Webinar: Shop-along studies
9th May 17
When conducting shop-along or in-store studies, we can each benefit from the handy tips of an expert.
Tom Rich will share his tips and tricks for in-store studies, from using a local recruiter, assigning roles to anyone “viewing,” taking lots of photos, asking participants to repeat great quotes on video outside the store to enhance reporting, and writing the report for the audience (client or retailer). By so doing, Tom will provide a comprehensive guide to conducting small- and large-scale shopper insights studies.
This webinar aims to:
- Provide a business rationale for conducting shop-along studies
- Examine the optimal methodological approach to shop-along studies
- Identify the key information to collect during a shop-along study
- How to best record shop-along data using multi-media
- Outline the best ways of reporting shop-along findings
At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will have gained proficiency in comprehensively attending to each component of a shop-along study from design to data collection and then reporting. In addition, you will be able to sell the virtues of shop-along studies to your internal/ external clients.
