Masterclass 2018 - Data Visualisation - Online Course
4th Apr 18
Do you wish to convey key insights, from either qual or quant research, in a deeper and more visually compelling way? Are you seeking to portray storylines visually so as to have a more transformative impact on a business’s future strategy?
This Masterclass addresses how to summarise and present both qualitative and quantitative information in a powerfully visual way so as to convey clear and strong messages to key stakeholders in any organisation
In each of its 3 sessions, this Masterclass will demonstrate the latest tools for condensing and visually communicating key insights gained from both qualitative and quantitative information. These sessions will include case studies that demonstrate application of these techniques in a wide variety of settings. For example, we will learn how to visually represent global trends in music consumption across different audiences; how to map different sets of consumers that are interested in receiving anti-aging therapies and community attitudes towards water purity and fauna/ flora protection.
This Masterclass will challenge the data collection methods used to ensure only authentic data is processed. The detection of inconsistencies in data collected can be assisted with data visualisation techniques. When inconsistencies arise, we ill then explore supplementary research methodologies for capturing the truth.
This Masterclass will:
- Help you extract key information and develop visual portraits of this information
- Develop your skills to think visually through a research problem and its subsequent solution
- Provide tools for textualized visualisation of research results
- Apply data visualisation tools across a broad spread of commercial and social research settings
- Leave you with mastery in the application of data visualisation techniques
At the conclusion of this online Masterclass, participants will be able to think through a research problem visually with a newly acquired set of tools which are incorporated in visual storytelling of your research findings.
