2019 National Conference - Call For Speakers

Becoming a speaker at the annual AMSRS Conference is well regarded, so we are always in the lucky position of having more speaker submissions that we have spots.

The best way to get your session accepted is to offer as much detail as possible. We have made the submission portal more detailed this year for this purpose. We know it will take longer, but we are prompting you to show the committee your great idea in the best possible way.

Presentations that sound like they are likely to be a sales pitch for the product or service that you offer are unlikely to get up. We can't stress this enough: DON'T SELL. It sounds obvious, but it helps a lot if you have a thought-provoking point of view - and want to get it across.

Please don't simply go for style over substance - sometimes a potentially known subject can be extremely popular because there's an appetite to learn about it. If it has been heard before and in the same format, it is unlikely to be chosen. The demographic for the conference is mid-senior researchers. Delegates come to learn something they don’t know already or new ways of doing old things. Please consider what the delegates can take away from your presentation – and let us know what that is.

Please note that if you are carrying out research or have access to new data which you might be able to present for the first time, this is great for our industry. We also love great client shared case studies – If you have a joint client shared presentation we would love to have both of you on stage. Please note that you will need to have this data available by the first draft deadline of Friday 17th May 2019.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU NEED TO FILL THIS FORM IN IN ONE SITTING IF YOU DO IT ONLINE.
YOU WILL RECEIVE A POP UP MESSAGE LIKE THIS IF YOUR SUBMISSION WAS ENTERED CORRECTLY.

IF YOU DO NOT GET A NOTIFICATION OR ARE CONCERNED THAT YOUR SUBMISSION WAS NOT RECEIVED, PLEASE CONTACT LESLEA ON 02 9566 3108.
