Shee & Associates is a niche provider of marketing intelligence required to support informed business decision making at a senior management level.

Our clients come to us for assistance with business challenges that are strategic in nature.  Characterised by complex decision making processes and often involving significant risk/return equations, such challenges typically include how best to craft a market entry strategy, fend off competitor incursions, reposition existing offers to reflect changing customer attitudes and behaviours, identify new segments within a target market or finesse marketing communications so that they resonate with their intended audience.

Catering exclusively for service industries - such as pharmaceutical/health care, financial services, telecommunications, professional services, tertiary education, retail, automotive - our particular interest lies with B2B markets.  Most of our work is repeat business derived from ongoing client relationships, many of whom are market leaders in their respective industry sectors, augmented by referrals through word of mouth.

What sets us apart is the combination of the deep investment we make in getting to know our clients' businesses, an uncompromising approach to quality, an enduring determination to go beyond the obvious and a particular interest in the challenge of communicating research outcomes in a way that is compelling, meaningful and directly relevant to business strategy.

Drawing on 20 years' experience in both buyer and supplier roles with some of Australia's premier boutique agencies, Trish Shee, Principal acts as primary strategist and key client contact for all projects.

Our business model is based on collective collaboration: over many years we have built a network of ‘best in class' suppliers, making it possible to configure a full suite of services necessary to tackle a particular business challenge.  Complementing our core capabilities in problem definition and research design, project management and customer relationship management, primary and secondary data collection, analysis and communicating findings, we bring in relevant specialist expertise as and when needed.  These might include online data collection capabilities (both quant and qual), ethnography/semiotics, advanced analytics, brand specialists, digital media production/editing specialists and promotions specialists (advertising, creative services, PR).
