She has experience in all types of quantitative research but has particular expertise in developing research designs for complex business and marketing problems, and in conducting studies involving trade-off methods, structural equation modelling and segmentation. Anna Waterhouse To: Senior researcher, The Seed From: Account manager, The Leading Edge Waterhouse has experience in ad hoc strategic research. With various stints in the US and Europe, she has a particular interest in media and social research, both of which she intends to develop at The Seed. Daren Poole To: Chief client officer, Millward Brown Australia From: Managing Director, Millward Brown Sydney Millward Brown has promoted company veteran Daren Poole to the newly-created position of chief client officer (CCO) for Australia. Poole will lead new business development and have national responsibility for Millward Brown client solutions including online service Dynamic Logic and media evaluation agency Millward Brown Precis. He has more than 13 years experience in research and worked for Millward Brown in the UK, Europe and Asia before joining the Australian company in February 2007. Sara Law To: Client service director, Millward Brown Sydney From: Group account director, Millward Brown Sydney Law will be responsible for managing the Sydney client service team and will report to Millward Brown Australia managing director, Ben Dixon. Matilda Sarah To: Marketing director, Numbers From: Maternity leave Matilda Sarah has returned to Numbers to resume her role as marketing director. Prior to her maternity leave, she helped establish Q market research software in Australia's research agency market. Her next challenges include further developing the Q presence in the research client market. Susan Metlege

Peter Harris To: Managing director, Vision Critical Australia and New Zealand From: Managing director, Colmar Brunton Australia Harris has more than 20 years of marketing experience as a marketer, research buyer and supplier to some of Australia's largest corporations. For the past nine years he has worked at Colmar Brunton, the largest employee-owned research agency in Australia. He currently serves as national president of the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS).
Harris took up his post in Vision Critical's Sydney office on 18 January.
Matt Bruce To: Managing director, Nielson Online From: National sales director, Nielson Online Bruce's promotion to the role of managing director from his previous position as national sales director for Nielsen's online division follows the recent promotion of Megan Clarken from managing director of the Australian and NZ online business to her current role as managing director of Nielsen's online business across the Asia Pacific region. Working with key industry bodies, the IAB and MFA, he says the company aims to introduce a world leading online audience measurement system to Australia and to continue to demonstrate the branding and purchase impact of online advertising. He joined Nielsen in 2008, and since that time has successfully lead the sales team to year-on-year growth. Prior to joining Nielsen, Bruce held a number of senior positions with large media companies across the UK, US, Japan and Australia Emile El-azar To: Brisbane office manager and account director, I-view From: Account director, I-view I-view Queensland's recently promoted account director Emile El-azar will now take on the additional role of Brisbane office manager. This adds to a series of new challenges to his role, which have progressively been presented over the past 18 months or so. Katrina Clark To: Queensland project manager, I-view From: Senior operations supervisor, I-view Clark has been appointed to the role of Queensland project manager, where she will be working with, and supporting, Emile El-azar and the I-view team. Angela Tse To: Marketing scientist, Number From: Initiative Media Angela Tse joined Numbers in December. She has completed a double degree in Business Administration and Psychology at Macquarie University.
