Ruby Cha Cha in top 50 coolest companies
Ruby Cha Cha has been named a ‘Highly Commended' in Anthill's 2009 Cool Company Awards, making them one of Anthill's 50 Coolest Companies for 2009 and proving that market research really can be cool! The Anthill Cool Company Awards were launched in 2006, as a way to acknowledge and celebrate Australian companies that are doing things differently to bring about positive change. Kirsten Hickey says the submission was very long and involved for the Anthill awards, but some of the things that were mentioned by the company included: - The name! Ruby Cha Cha has gained enormous exposure and talk-ability through adoption of a cool name
- Ruby Cha Cha focuses on challenging the market research industry to continuously innovate and push the boundaries of research thinking (we spoke at an international conference only eight months into inception and actively encourage best practice thinking internally)
- The company has ‘freshness' days that are built around fun, free thinking and a focus on giving back to the community
- Ruby Cha Cha claims to have redefined healthcare and developed a strong internal team to ensure traditional ‘pharma' research keeps up with the consumer world of proactive health and wellbeing.
- Ruby Cha Cha clients tell them they have the ‘X' factor - the combination of people, philosophy and processes that will help us re-invent market research.
Most of the cool company awards tend to go to inventors or technology businesses which have a more revolutionary feel to them, but Hickey believes that her company is gearing up to make the same type of difference, just in a more traditional industry.
