Career moves
Evette Cordy has been appointed regional director of TNS' technology sector, responsible for the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa region. Tourism Australia has appointed David Holderness as manager, consumer and market insights. He leads a team of researchers in the Sydney-based global headquarters. With 15 years' experience in the fast moving consumer goods sensory and product testing arena, Amanda Osenton joins Synovate in Sydney as an account director. Osenton is currently involved with AMSRS as part of the NSW Division and professional development committees. Chris Ovenden has joined Synovate as executive director, large projects team. Ovenden will be leading this new initiative with specialist capabilities in complex quantitative research design, sampling, project management and online data collection. Emily Paladino has joined the Melbourne office of Blue Moon Research and Planning as an associate director. Lydia Pattison has been appointed director of Mindzeye Sydney, TNS' specialist qualitative unit. Lisa Salas has joined Lightspeed Research Australia as pricing manager in the business development department. Mariella Symons has joined Galaxy Research as a research director. She has broad experience in marketing, knowledge management and quantitative research. Paul Vittles has taken up a newly-created position of director and executive coach, TNS Social. Paul is a member of the NSW AMSRS Committee. Jacqui von Hirschberg has been appointed director of consumer for TNS Australia and New Zealand. This role will help strengthen the trans-Tasman bonds being forged between TNS Australia and TNS Conversa in Auckland.
